God and His Plans for Us
This morning, as I was preparing to go to practice, my mom told me that she soon will not have a job. Confused, I asked why, and she said that her boss’ business partner scam her boss and now they have no more money… so they can’t hire mom any longer. At first, I was outraged, cussing out at the person that did the scam… but my mom said that God has a plan for everything, and on the side, she told me to not spend so much money and save them incase if these things ever happen to us. All of the sudden, I was scared, afraid, and overwhelmed. Overwhelmed with both sadness and worries. Sadness for the family that was scammed. Worries about whether or not that family would make it, and for us. They have two very young kids, and already these things happened. I’m praying that they keep their faith in God, and understand and know that God have a plan for them.
So I guess for now, I can pray for them. Pray that they would be able to get on their feet again. Pray also that they would be able to keep their faith in God. For me, I think it’s a lesson from God, and that is to not be so wasteful, and also a test, that even when we lose everything, God is still there, all I have to do is lean on Him and know that He is in control.
This whole thing reminded me of Job. Job, a man with everything, suddenly lost everything… and yet, through everything, he still have faith in God and give praise.
Those Rants
Ever get stuck trying to figure out what someone means when they put abbreviations? That happened to me recently. Ok, so, some stuff should be abbreviated like lol, or omg, or idk… anyways, people need to stop creating and using unnecessary abbreviations… like ikr… or totes… WHAT!? yea, please stop, you can’t spell out totally? UNNECESSARY. Abbreviations are for Note Taking. =D
